Not sure how to do this (otherwise, id send a PR), is it possible to customize the dirsToIgnore variable when packiaging and compiling to allow it to ignore custom files and tests?

Also in TypescriptCompiler - can we add custom compiler options such as esModuleInterop and exclude paths?
