Github Pages Looks Different from Local Host

I finished building the code for my website and it looks great on the local host, so I pushed it to Github and got it set up with Github Pages and a domain name. However, when I look at the published website, the first button looks off and some of the spacing I had blocked out is gone (elements crowded together).
