Remove dead code and improve test coverage

After f5c0202 gets merged, test coverage will suffer major loss (-9%). We need to remove all the dead code from our project (especially glitter post part). Check all files section of any of the recent builds to find other which other files need help: https://coveralls.io/github/glittergallery/GlitterGallery?branch=master
This issue can be closed when we are in 95+ test coverage.
