Extension data and template not included in issue if extension is inactive

2. Help > Report Issue
3. 🐛 no template is prefilled, no extension data is included

Should there be an activation event or a package.json static contribution that you can look for to ensure that you can activate the extension and call its providers?

Yep, since the extension is never activated, the API is never called. This is something I'll look into in the future, maybe an activation event like onIssueReporterOpened

It seems logical that they would have the extension already activated or be using it at the point in time they file an issue - likely be a debt item for me 💸
