I ran into an issue where
libnvcuvid.so
is not available on the image. (2nd comment here).The fix likely requires a reboot of the machine, so a new image is likely the solution.
Even if NVIDIA updates the image with a fix, I don't see a mechanism for github actions to pickup a new release of the image. The image currently being used is:
There have been two more releases according to https://docs.nvidia.com/ngc/ngc-deploy-public-cloud/ngc-azure/index.html#azure-vmi.
Alternatively can we build and use a custom image?
I'm afraid without
