GitHub Education Benefits Not Received After Approval

Hi GitHub Education Team,

I was verified as a student on January 1, 2025, and I received the confirmation that my benefits would be available soon. However, I haven't received access to my academic benefits yet, and it's been a few days since the verification.

Could you please help me check the status of my benefits? I understand there might be a wait period, but I would like to confirm if everything is in order.

Don't worry, when the benefits become available, the status label will turn purple and change to:

• Congrats! Your request for @burakozkan138 was approved and your benefits are now available.

The waiting time may vary depending on different factors, such as the volume of requests; it usually takes a few days, but sometimes it can take a little longer, even a couple of weeks.

Thank you for your assistance so far. However, I am experiencing an issue with accessing my academic benefits. Whenever I try to access the benefits section, I am redirected to the GitHub Pricing page.

Here are the details of my case:

GitHub username: burakozkan138
Verification date: January 1, 2025

It seems like my benefits are not yet active. Could you please check if there is any issue with my account setup, or guide me on the next steps to resolve this?

Hey @burakozkan138, I'm not a GitHub employee so I can't help you directly with that, however I noticed that you now have a PRO badge, which means you should have access to your benefits as GitHub Pro is one of the features included in the Student Developer Pack.

Try this, go to the pack offers page, scroll down to the "All offers" section, select for example Copilot (<- click directly on the link if you are redirected to the pricing page) and check if you can redeem it, if you can't, I suggest you to contact support again by raising a ticket here, select "I am a verified student having trouble redeeming my Global Campus offers" and explain your problem.
